Profile
Tanya taught acting and Improvisation
with the NIDA open program for over 3 years, was
the General Manager of the 1999 Sydney Comedy
Festival, the Artistic Director of Theatresports
Inc Sydney from 1996-1998 and the General Manager
of Explosive Minds! 2002-2003.
She recently represented Australia in the National
Improv team at the Montreal International Comedy
Festival, competing against teams from all over
the globe - and brought home the world title.
The event was televised across the United States
and Canada.
Her two woman sell out Sydney show Tan Jose'
also performed at the Melbourne Town Hall in the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2003.
Tanya has written three plays for children that
have toured Australia and Canada - two of which
were translated into French.
TV & FILM
Tanya was a regular guest panelist on Good News
Week and appeared weekly on ABC TV's Backberner.
Triple M took her to Brisbane for the "Fatcat,
Marto and Tanya" Breakfast show as well as
working on Club Veg Sydney as Dot Com Chick. She
performed in the GNW Debate series and was the
Team Captain on the Mikey Robbins' comedy series
Campaign.
Tanya has appeared in All Saints, Police Rescue,
Home and Away, Big Sky and A Country Practice.
Her commercial credits include A.O.L, Red Lobster
(USA), Happydent (ITALY) QANTAS, Powerball, NRMA,
She Magazine, Ampol, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Optus
TV and the "African Exotic" - Moccona
Coffee ad. Tanya also played Cheryl Travis- the
lead role, in the Australian Feature Film "Dags".
She also makes a great margarita.
